About Meghan Fialkoff
Meghan started her Public Relations career as a Public Relations representative for Redman Communications in Bethesda, Maryland working directly with the media on product placement on the local news, newspapers and various outlets, press release writing, coordinating publications and photography placement for clients and specializing in various other PR services. In 2006, Meghan took on the role as first, Director of Public Relations and later on, Executive Director for two international non-profit organizations, Foundation for a Drug Free World and Youth for Human Rights. Overall, Meghan organized, planned and managed more than 1500 events in the Eastern Seaboard of the USA and Latin America. These events included: charity galas, fundraisers, dinners, tours, press conferences, concerts, summits at the United Nations, conferences, symposiums, release parties, staged readings, radio shows, foreign presentations and official meetings, exhibits, photographic exhibits, rallies, marches, breakfasts/luncheons, and numerous other event productions. During her tenure as PR director as these charities, she also worked with celebrity/entertainment endorsement and hosting, as well as presented at public events to audiences of several hundred on more than 100 occasions. Her public relations work has been covered in such publications as the New York Daily News, Bayside Times, Whitestone Times, ADA National Newsletter, Harlem World, Bronx Times and others. Since founding Meghan Fialkoff Event Productions, she has also expanded her work into social media and web page copy, coordination and promotion. She planned two humanitarian medical trips to Havana, Cuba for a NY dental educational group, and has done event/public relations consulting with such organizations as: US Census Bureau, Hippodrome Foundation, Puerto Rican Day Parade, Israeli Artists United, Fight for Kids, 3i Implant Symposium, Puerto Rico Dental Society, Spanish American Medical Dental Society, Actress Dana Berger, Author Services, NY Rescue Workers Detoxification Project, UN Society of Writers, the Earth Organization, HI Construction Corp and the Hippodrome Foundation. She has conducted PR consulting for Theatre including the Off-Broadway plays "Cabaret Emigre" and "The Poor of New York," and has organized events at such venues as Dylan's Steakhouse, the Altman Building, Marriott Hotel, Manhattan Place, Roosevelt Hotel, Ports 1961 Showroom, United Nations and others. Meghan still works with YFHR and FDFW charities as NY Executive Director on a charitable basis. She also is on the board as Event Consultant for iVolunteer and Event Core Committee for JCorps and is an ongoing contributor to the Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation of which she is a member of the national sisterhood/organization. Meghan received a Certificate of Recognition from New York Senator Kevin S. Parker (June 2018), a Citation from New York Senator Jamaal T. Bailey (June 2018), a Citation from Carrie Solages of Nassau County Legislature (June 2018), the Mayoral Service Recognition Program Award from NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio (April 2017), the
Humatradomes Women Humanitarian International Award (2017) and the "Drug Free Vanguard" Award from Foundation for a Drug Free World in 2015. Meghan graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Relations from the University of Maryland. Meghan received an honorary Doctorate Degree, a "Doctor of Humanitarian" from the Midwest Theological University.
